Absolutely.

I guess I just like the sense that cars and parts offered for sale here are usually done so by the Speedster/Spyder enthusiast community and not by professional car dealers.

We have a tab to link us to Vendor websites and I guess I would prefer to see a link rather than an overt ad.

However, that is just my opinion. I am a die hard capitalist and I want to see every legitimate enterprise be successful. Didn't mean to impune car dealers.

At what point does the car require a new set of batteries and what does that replacement cost?

A beautiful car!

The range on the car depending on driving conditions is 90-100+ miles on a charge. The battery pack has a top life of 3000 full cycle charges. So your best case scenario is 300,000 miles on your battery pack. Average cost to charge is under $3 per charge unless you have free solar energy. A new battery pack will run you around $9,000 but you cant go 100 miles for 3 bucks on a gas engine. Some people tend to get what I call "range anxiety" thinking that an electric car should go 500 miles but thats just not realistic at this point without millions of dollars in R&D for better regeneration and battery technology. This is a commuter vehicle to get around town. knowbody needs a gas guzzling SUV to get a hair cut, eat out or go shopping.

Yeah but they shouldn't be masquerading as a non-donating member --- when indeed they are a merchant and should contribute as such.  That used to be in the old SOC site rules - I can't seem to find the rules on new site.  It costs Theron $$$ to run this site - if one is making $$$ off it they should contribute.

I been on here 2 days I would'nt call it masquerading and I havent made 1 penny. If this were proffitable I would contribute to the site. Mainly I like to show people the cool rides we build and help people who may have questions or need parts ect.

Not yet...and not that there's anything wrong with that, but it is your objective here (to sell cars). I think involvement on the forum by manufacturers and dealers adds to the knowledge base and the community; it's just nice to know who everybody is.
