Back on topic.......
When I first got my speedster, I used a bluetooth speaker mounted under my dash (hidden from sight). That works well for any cruising under 35mph.
As I mentioned above, the wind is more of an issue, especially when driving for long stretches of times with speeds in excess of 45mph. That's when a friend told me to use AirPods. Those have been revolutionary is making my experience with the speedster more enjoyable.
My wife had a short "shelf-life" when it came to drives in the speedster. Last year she did one day of my 4-day rally using her AirPods Max. She was able to drive for 200 miles without complaint. She enjoyed the experience so much, that this year she will attend all four days of the rally with me, or 750-miles in the passenger seat.
Which prompted another "problem"...........
If both of us are wearing noise cancelling headphones, how do we converse? In addition, I find that after a day, I tend to lose my voice shouting to the passenger next to me as we have conversations. (Perhaps I'm a little delicate)
Which leads me to my next investment for the speedster. After much deliberation, I ordered the Tufftalk over-the-head bluetooth intercom headset from SENA. So that my wife and I may have ear protection while listening to music and the ability to easily chat with one another without the need to yell. My friends use them in their d-type and other friends use them in their Morgans without any complaints.
I'll let you know after the first week of May if it was worth the investment.
