The seat's open, Kelly. He can use it if he wants, but I'm planning (tentatively) on going up early.
Early, eh?? How early?? I may have something up my sleeve that would be "early" also.

Give a yell sometime, Kelly. We should figure out what we're going to do.
Cory:
Okee-doke. Been down the rabbit hole pretty deep lately -- time to climb out and see what's going on. Will call. We definitely gonna do, just need to figure out the what and the when; I think I know the why and the how; the who is pretty well figured as well.

Must be Rocket Scientist lingo....
Yeah, secret stuff....shhhhhhhh.
I may be solo. Calamity Joan developed a herniated disc. She might not be able to handle a lengthy Speedy ride. She's going under the knife 10/24.

Sorry to hear of her back, when I had the spinal surgery I had bone tissue bank donor parts ...I didn't care to ask about that.

Well, we always knew you were part dead, now we know what part!
Baawahahahaa
Send C/Joan my best. Having had disk surgery last March, I have a sense that I know what she's in for. I had to shuffle around the house for a couple of weeks and then got back into my walking during week three. My exercise regimen is nearly back to normal, 3 mile morning walks, almost full term Nordic Trak exercise, water aerobics and my first 5K about two weeks ago. Prognosis is good. I'm careful about what and how I lift, how I bend and NO MORE CRUNCHES.
Bwaaa Hahaha, sorry Hoss, after reading your post all I could think of was you sitting down to pee.

Bill, please let the missus know if she needs body parts, I'll go to Jersey and knock somebody off on her behalf -- but I'll need a cooler, and I may need to hide out in your camper for a while after 'dat.

All this time, I had been wondering why Alan and Wild Bill insisted we stop at Buchanan's birthplace.
I just noticed the bottom segment of the sign.

Regretfully I'll miss this years. I'll be riding my Speedster (ah, SeaDoo jet boat variety) off Ft Walton Beach, FL - hopefully in mid-80 degree weather. I need to book slot on your calendar to get the real Speedster finished.
Sure hate to miss Marty's birthday.

Yeah, the weather thing. Been REAL lucky all times past, but this year, I dunno. Been so cool and so wet, it's gonna take some serious anti-rain dancing to break the trend. Perhaps w/ enough of Gordo's grog, we will not care. Babs has already mentioned that if it is cold and rainy, I'll be running pumpkins by myself. Might talk my son into coming along, however.

Gordon, thanks in advance! We will be thinking of you and Kathy (and the Jack Russel terrorists) next weekend. Teresa and I hope you get back to Beaufort and find it as restful as when you left.
For the cruise --
My schedule looks like I'm going to be going up Saturday morning with my buddy Chuck in the right seat. He's been a trooper throughout the last few years' car shenannigans, and I thought I'd invite him along.
In fact, for those of you who remember the Mt. Airy Winery get-together that East Coast Bruce set up in '03 or '04, that was Chuck who drove it that day.
So ... where to meet Saturday morning?
