Sorry to hear of her back, when I had the spinal surgery I had bone tissue bank donor parts ...I didn't care to ask about that.

Send C/Joan my best. Having had disk surgery last March, I have a sense that I know what she's in for. I had to shuffle around the house for a couple of weeks and then got back into my walking during week three. My exercise regimen is nearly back to normal, 3 mile morning walks, almost full term Nordic Trak exercise, water aerobics and my first 5K about two weeks ago. Prognosis is good. I'm careful about what and how I lift, how I bend and NO MORE CRUNCHES.

Yeah, the weather thing. Been REAL lucky all times past, but this year, I dunno. Been so cool and so wet, it's gonna take some serious anti-rain dancing to break the trend. Perhaps w/ enough of Gordo's grog, we will not care. Babs has already mentioned that if it is cold and rainy, I'll be running pumpkins by myself. Might talk my son into coming along, however.

Bill, It is usually this weeekend buta few wanted to be able to go to Hershey,PA AACA Meet today (me included and what a great day it was there.) so I set the date of 10/15

Gordon, thanks in advance! We will be thinking of you and Kathy (and the Jack Russel terrorists) next weekend. Teresa and I hope you get back to Beaufort and find it as restful as when you left.

My schedule looks like I'm going to be going up Saturday morning with my buddy Chuck in the right seat. He's been a trooper throughout the last few years' car shenannigans, and I thought I'd invite him along.

In fact, for those of you who remember the Mt. Airy Winery get-together that East Coast Bruce set up in '03 or '04, that was Chuck who drove it that day.

So ... where to meet Saturday morning?
