JACK I WENT TO VINTAGE THEY GAVE ME A KIT INCLUDING CLEAR LENS LIGHTS, RELAY, TGGLE SWITCH( I MOUNTED UNDER THE DASH),wire , AND MOST IMPORTAN HORACE MADE ME AN L BRACKET THAT IS GREAT ( REQUIRES DRILLING THRU BUMPER FRAME) $300 TOTAL COST ALSO WIRED IT SO WHEN THE TOGGLE SWITCH FOR THE LIGHT IS ON AND YOU TURN OFF THE KEY THE DRIVING LIGHTS GO OUT SEE YA

Yeah, and I used to cruise at 60wpm with K1WKW in RI. I think he could top 80wpm without breaking a sweat (he was ex-Navy MARS).
I used to monitor the New England Traffic Net around 40-50 wpm for a long time, but then got tired of Code and went to telemetry. Since then, Hams have been running modems and computers instead of teletypes. I guess I was ahead of my time (or caught between two different times - old and older!)
