Less than six months away!!! Sorry I've been slow to update the details, but here they are. Not much has changed from last year. Dinner cost went up by $1. The least expensive room went up by $3. Other than that this should all look pretty familiar. There is a lot of information here so please be sure to read it all. At the bottom there is a call for volunteers.

Theron will be posting a poll (similar to previous years) to find out who
Hey Jen--there have been a few Speedster owners from the central and
Mid South parts of the country who have expressed a desire to make the treck in a caravan to Pismo. Marty G with his new IM was one.

I used to feel that the old "safety in numbers" deal was helpful in a long trip but not so much anymore. So rather than safety, it's just pure damned fun to travel together. Last time was a sensational experience--the gorgeous drive, the event and being with the Left Coasters.

So the answer is "yes" we are seriously considering attending the west coast event again.

If there is enough interest we could start a "West Coast Caravan" thread too.

Hoss--you up for a repeat? Who else?
Vince: Take note, you don't need to wear that bag all the time. You know that clip you use to close the tube when you empty the bag? Just clip the tube, remove the bag and you can usually go about an hour or so then step up to a urinal and haul out the hose and unclip it. Works perfectly but might shock any onlookers. Ask me how I know, I bowled 2 times a week and that bag would have been in the way.

Vince, don't worry about hijacking the thread. After all, you're my elder, it's only right that I show you respect and deference. (LOL, I kill me!!!) Seriously, I hope the docs get you fixed quick.

Now back to the regularly scheduled programming: It sounds like we could have a group of easterners (that's my all-encompassing term for you guys east of here)out here! That'll be good times!

And the award for "Fastest to Commit", not that we give out awards in this group, goes to Roy McIntire. Thanks for getting your check for meals to me already.

Merry Christmas to all! And Happy Hanukkah, Joyous Kwanza, and Happy Festivus to the rest of us!

Jen
Before we get all weepy about Vince's upcoming surgery (and of course we all wish him well)
I found the other half of the photo he posted. I don't know who did the makeup on his legs or dyed his stubble. But these photos appeared on an obscure web site devoted to exteme
recyclers (it's a California thing like PETA) with his application for membership.
See you at Pismo Vince!
