All--I just received the new bra for my VS and wanted to make a report. I got it mainly for the upcoming 1,100 mile drive to Carlisle
to minimize road rash. It fits perfectly and there are ruler-sized flat strips that bend and re-bend to hold it on. Two at each wheel well, and several accross the bottom. Then two straps that go under the bonnet lid and hold the top in place.

Medium thick vinyl material that is lined with soft non-scratch material. Well-made and strong stiching. It should lasy many, many years and do a good job. I like the fact that it is not really huge like some I've seen. Looks ok on the car snd will work well I'm sure. A great value for just $50.00 you can see one on the Vintage website on an ivory car like mine. Click on "media" to see cars, then enlarge the ivory one.

Why is it called a "bra" anyway??? There's never been an actual boob as big as the front of a Speedster (except maybe in a certain dream) ---plus there's only one ---so what's that about??

Seems a better name could be used---"front chip protector" or
"anti road rash device" or even "mini front car cover".
I admit that bra is a shorter name but really not accurate.

Anyway I'm glad I have it whatever it's called---I really prefer this size to. Should it have been named "training bra"?

Dare I talk about how the little front parking lights stick through the thing?

Oh, dare....DARE!!

Seriously, your anti-boob-ding device is a great asset. ;>)

HOWEVER!! Even though it is lined with a nice flannel-soft material which is scratch resistant, it will accumulate grit in that soft fabric that WILL cause scratches in the paint.

Just be sure you clean it often and you shouldn't have trouble from it.

BTW: I prefer the D-size cup version as I have on Pearl, but hers is invisible so she looks topless. Kinda has that St. Tropez thing going there.....or maybe the French side of St. Maarten......

Ahh . . . you youngsters! Does no one remember the '53 (?) and later Cadillacs? The front bumpers were widely known as "Dagmars". Course you got to be older than dirt to remember the real Dagmar. Let's just say she was memorable for her upper super-structure, sort of a super-sized Dolly Parton. And as the Detroit chrome era grew, so did Cadillac's Dagmars. The high water mark being when they incorporated large black rubber center sections into the twin protubences in the name of safety. Even the '57 Chevy had a mini-version of Dagmars. So anything that covers your Dagmars - even if your ride is only an A-cup - is a bra. Simple!
