It has been addressed, but I easily run 225 50 16s on the rear and 205 50 16s up front. They are on 911 Fuchs. I space the front out 5/8 of an inch with aluminum spacers, available from Porsche aftermarket sources.

Thank you,but I should of asked what wheel off-set is needed to properly fill the wheel well with out rubbing the fender, front and rear.I have also read in the forum about the use of wheel spacers and wheel adapters, with the majority saying that wheel adapters are weak.I can have my drums and rotors redrilled but will I still need spacers with stock fuchs wheels and do these spacers slid over the wheel studs or do they bolt on and have their own studs. Thanks for all the help.

I have vintage flared speedster which may be close to cmc. I'm running CB disk brakes front and rear. I have fuch 8x15 rims, and probably 235/50's or 245/50's and 1/4" spacers which fills things out nicely. Your mileage may vary but I would not make any rim or tire decisions until you actually have the body on the frame and can measure and dry fit things.
I actually got one used 8x15 fuch to try before I committed to getting 4 nice refinished 8x15's and tires.

Vintage has two flared versions. The C2 with really wide, flat at the top flares, and one like the earlier CMC flares. You can see my CMC flares under jackmoore. I think you may get the 245s under there if you redrill the drums. Next question, do you have discs in rear or drums?
