My right rear tire had a nail in it, pulled it off and brought it to Pep boys for a repair (FUCH wheel) quess what happened?

Am I missing something? What did they do to the car? Did it used to be red?
put a mirror on one spoke to match the left rear fuch?
The Pep Boys on Brookhurst, Huntington Beach? I hope you're not going to say they cracked/broke the wheel!

Instead of breaking the bead on the tire in order to put a patch on the inside,they broke the rim?
They fixed the wrong tire and now you have to ride around with a flat

They reinstalled it, but failed to tighten the aluminum alloy wheel 911 wheel fasteners to 96 ft lbs torque and the wheel fell off...trashing a lovely car and endangering a really really cool guy.
Which I might add, is grounds for an ass whuppin'.

drum roll please............... Alright pick -up the wheel that I brought in (thank you Lord) for the tire fix $12.50 when I got to my garage to mount the tire back on I notice some swirl marks? apon closer inspection it looked like someone took a 80 grit circular disc and lightly touch areas around the wheel and in one area it look like they used a big screwdriver too break the bead( in two places??) brought it back and the manager assured me that his machines with the plastic tooling could of never do such damage? I gave him the I don't give a sh#%!! look and and said fix it or buy me a new one I left it there(I'll check on it today) and now I hope for the best (I hope it is't cracked?) Cabanaboy ~ FREAKING ~

I assume this is a real Fuch and not a knockoff. Assuming it is real, then the wheel is forged. Very strong. Look closely for cracks, but very very unlikely.
The knockoff wheels are cast and more likely to crack. Before you use the wheel I would suggest having the tire dismounted by a reputable shop and examine the hidden portions of the wheel just to be sure. Probably set you back $20 to have that done but the peace of mind is priceless.

I'll second Angela's assessment of original Fuchs rims ; Absolutely amazing strength and trueness.
Mine are off of an '89 911 and I've measured run-out on them all and, at the rim extremity, they wobble/bump less than .008"
Amazing after all these years (and the stuff I put them through).

went by Pep boys and talked with the manager, he informed me that a very reputable wheel repair shop is doing the repair...... so I'll wait and report.
