Interesting that last night on the last leg of our journey towing the Monster to Florida Tom Loranzo commented you are probably checked into a room sipping an adult beverage.  Good you are home and great to meet you and the SOC at Carlisle.

So Rich, how was the ride compared to the 911?

Marty- Must be a pretty comfortable car if he drove straight through...

I have driven the same distance straight through in the IM 356D before.  I prefer to stop after 7 hours; but when I'm rolling with Sandy she motivates me to just get home.  

Glad you had a good, uneventful drive home, Rich.

Tom and Dennis...nice to meet you in Cocoa Beach and see you again in Carlisle. How long did it take you to get home on Sunday ? That was a pretty long haul.

It was nice meeting you and Fran also, Dave.
We left 4:30 am got to Cocoa at approx 9:30 pm.
Good weather made for good trip.
Monster home safely now.
Hope you guys come visit us again, maybe in winter.

Back in Weston (Ft. Lauderdale).  Rolled in earlier today after 16.25 hrs driving time.  Rain at the start and rain at the end ... otherwise perfect weather.  The car ran flawlessly.  It was great to again make it to Carlisle ...  my third visit ..... and spend time with such good friends.  I had a super time with everybody.  Saw some great cars.   Of course, it's never uneventful and this year I had a clutch problem.  As I was coming back from the Friday AM museum visit I heard a loud pop and next thing I knew ..... no clutch.   My options where AAA or why not call Carey Hines for his thoughts.  Well, with out hesitation he asked  where I was, got Mike and hopped into his truck and trailer to come find me. BTW ... my car has been off warrantee for years.  Mike and Carey diagnosed that the hardware into my slave cylinder poped off ... so they took me/car to the  Fairgrounds .... bought the needed hardware and fixed the problem.  Thanks guys .....
