1/4 mile times

Has anybody had their speedster on the drag strip. What sort of times have you recorded. What sort of maximum speeds have been recorded. Don't forget to tell us what motor you are running. Who's had the biggest speeding fine in a speedster?

I wanted to clock my car but didn't get the chance before our track closed. I'm interested to see what other peeps times were.

There is a roll bar issue here I believe......

Not sure about track times, but I achieve Zero-to-COOL in less than 3 seconds!! Sometimes longer if I have trouble getting my fat a$$ into the Speedy (like after wolfing down a double-cheeseburger!).


...well, OK, maybe everytime I get into the Speedy...

I've run my car. It was a few years ago now but it ran about 13 seconds (12.9 I think?) and just under 100mph. My brother Ron O'Black was there with his Miata, but we won't talk about that..... The engine is a 2332 pushing about 175hp at the rear wheels.

Hey Ron It seems as though you are the only to guy to have done a timed run through a 1/4 mile! 13 seconds is not to shabby at all. I was hoping to get down to about 13.5 seconds. With about 180kw I might get down a bit more.
