I have 5 15x6" American Eagle Wheel Corporation Fuchs replicas (5x130mm bolt pattern) for sale. 4 had tires mounted and bolted to the car in the garage, and the 5th is still in the box. All are in like new condition.

"older Intermeccanica Speedster (still under wraps in the garage) a pic wouldn't show much, what with all the junk piled on it..."

Hello Al,

Thanks Al! My car has always had wide 5's. I just upgraded to disks in the rear. That trans has to be done soon or I'll go broke upgrading everything else.

Ted

You won't go broke, Ted; you'll do like I do and pack sandwiches and leftovers to work so you can steal your lunch money (the boss has no idea what I spend on this car) or be like Carl and eat more beans and rice.

With your avatar of the car with the hubcaps on I never knew it was already wide 5, and it you mentioned it before I forgot, but very cool! If there were lightweight wide 5 discs and wheels available when I started this I probably would have gone that route, as I've always loved that look on these cars. But then, the look just right with the 5 spoke alloys as well....

Any word on when you're getting the transaxle back?

Ken originally said 3-4 weeks. Last Thursday was the end of week 4. Based on the way he said "3 to 4", I kind of assumed he meant 'more like 5...'. This week is just starting the 5th week. The way I'm looking at it, it's not really 'late' if he gets it done this week. I pretty much counted on it being done on it's current timeline.

I just get bored easily and have to occupy my time somehow.

Had I known I needed to upgrade my master cylinder, I may have stuck with the rear drums.

Best of luck with the sale. I wonder if Sloan will buy them?

It's not the cost, it's the hassle.

I'm kind of dreading getting under there and wrastlin with some of those heavily rusted nuts on the MC. Maybe I'll start hitting them with some PB in hopes that everything goes as planned.

Back to your regularly scheduled for sale thread.

5 - 6" Fuchs replicas? $400.00 somebody jump on these.

Ted

I've got the same ad on the Airspeed forum, Ron. I'd rather see them go on an SOC car, but with the hassles (and cost) of shipping such large items, the better deal would be local. Mind you, even with shipping, they are cheaper than new...

I have 4 15x6" and a pair of 15x7" original Fuchs (all late, 911 part #'s) that I've had for some time. It's just time to clean out the garage a bit. Any one need a pair of Berg 356/912 manifolds for IDA's? I think I've got some 40P11 to VW manifolds as well. Tall IDA Scat trak manifolds ? Berg short IDA (GB 587) manifolds? Even with these, the IDA's and air cleaners wouldn't fit in the Speedster's engine compartment. I've really got to get all these listed on the Samba some day.....

PS- I may look into that, Greg. Thanks.

Denis- Alan Merklin was interested in them and I need to send him a couple of pics (my son will have to help me); if he passes I'll let you know.

Again, 4 have had tires mounted and been on my Speedster in the garage, but have never been outside so are in like new condition; no scratches or curb rash. The 5th is still in the original box. All were bought new by me. Al

PS- I also have 2 complete type 1 rear brake assemblies (new shoes and wheel cylinders), the drums have been drilled for the 5x130mm (Porsche) stud pattern and will fit original Porsche press-in studs.

What do you want for the brake assemblies?
