How do those door handles work?

I saw some old cars, and some old farts, but no sex...

There is a video on Jay Leno's Garage web site of the first Porsche to win at Pebble Beach. It is a 1949 Gmund owned by Hans Peter Porsche. The door handles are explained in the video. You push on the end bump, which pivots the other end of the lever out so that you can wrap your fingers around and pull.

The car is gorgeous and way ahead of it's time.
