I thought that Miata tire size calculator had cross section of tires but it doesn't. Must be one that would show that. I bet if you asked tire dealer for a used tire they'd give it you so you could test it. Assume 165/80x15 vs 195/65x15. 195/65x15 is popular on Honda and Toyota ('05 corolla size). I ended up with 185/65x15 on my CMC - to keep a 1/4" rear clearance (using 5.5" wide 914 2L Fuchs). It lowered car a good 1/2" too.
2 tires. I'll get the exact model off them. I picked up the wheels with 195's on the back & 135's on the front (off a bug). The 135's look to be new too. Forgot what brand. If anyone wants them, they're free, just pay shipping. I'll take some pics tonight & post them.

So if the American Eagle replica 2L wheels only have 4" back spacing - and the OEM Fuchs ones have 4 3/4" - are the replicas going to fit with 165s? Like I said I had 165/80 and now the 185/65 and have maybe 1/4" clearance in rear on a CMC (typical tighter on one side than on the other - Driver's side tight on mine). I have the OEM 2L Fuchs. Assume the replicas are 5.5" like the OEMs. Looks different heights but it finally settled even - guess 18 years on jacks stands was too long.

I'd check one before you dismount/mount and balance the whole set. BECK will surely be different from my CMC experience --- but if it sticks out 3/4" more .....
