1954 Speedster replica (not mine)

I was trolling craig's list the other day and stumbled across this little gem.

1954 porsche speedster replica
Replica body was fabricated from a 1954 Porsche coupe
Includes a brand new 1650cc Vw engine & a 1200cc Vw engine which was the original motor.
Needs interior, & minor fiberglass work
It is a convertible & currently has no top.
Asking price is 7,533 or best offer, trade, barter.

I saw the car in person a couple weeks ago.  It is by far the worst licensed automobile I have ever seen.  It isn't just bad, it's downright scarey that it was ever on the road. It looks and feels like it is made out of paper machete.  The body is splitting at every seem. The fiberglass was layed over maybe cardboard and is 2-3 inches thick in some areas with no support and not enough resin. 

I was honest with him and told him I think the license plate light might be original.  I would give him $50 for the whole thing if he let me keep the light and disposed of the car.
