Hi Jim i noticed that your speedster is  number  153 build,its not a real problem but that build would be   march 1978, also up to approx build 250 the battery  was placed at the front  on top of trunk floor, after that for the rest of the Santa Anna builds battery was placed at front but lowered in a well box to help more room,and to give better  area left for spare tire.  I would be a bit worried re the battery being only  6 inches from fuel intake hose and filter,because of heat, sparks, etc,nice car hope you sell it.
