The 1957 Tag is sold. The 55 Tag remains up for grabs.
On a recent road trip I found some vintage tags that someone might like to mount on their 55-58 era Speedster R. Price? My Cost, plus UPS. Write for info. (Cheap)
Tag #1 is in VGC, no rust, with minor wear on the highlighted blue (see pics) It is PA Tag 1955 with an exp. of 3-31-56. It is a smaller plate (see pic). TAG # 8AH83 The smaller size really gives a cool vintage look (I mounted them on my car to check them out)
Tag#2 is in GC. Surface rust is on the lower 1/4" lip and there are two minor bends on the top right and top left. The bends can be made straight with a soft surface and a rubber mallet. The rust can be covered with a light sanding and touch up of the lower 1/4 of the tag outer rim. It is a larger (normal size) tag and so the stamping of the state border outline shows better. The lettering is in VGC. 1957 Tag with an Exp. of 3-31-58. Tag # 15P24.
Both tags could be restored for an excellent appearance and I have a contact in Alabama that can do that for a fee. But, if you prefer a vintage original look... these may be the ticket. I have not washed or waxed them. Write for price. Tags will be sold separately and are at a bargain price.
