Richard, you state on this thread that the horsepower is 125, but on the ebay ad you say 130. Which is it? Have you had it dynoed or is this a estimate?

Also, if you think that you can get 30K or more at the B/J auction, why offer it on ebay with a buy it now price of 25K?

It's a nice looking car. Good luck with your sale.
Thanks

This Beck Porsche 550 Spyder is an example of what a great reproduction 550 Spyder needs and deserves to look like. This vehicle was professionally built and maintained by a Porsche race mechanic utilizing many real Porsche parts. The wheels, brakes, seats (even the leather) are Porsche. The vehicle features an original 3-spoke Porsche Banjo steering wheel. It also features Porsche lights, original racing mirror and headrest. This is a replica using original Porsche parts, not just a kit using cheap modern/non authentic looking parts like some of the cheaper kit vehicles on Ebay. The 1776cc (130hp) engine with twin 40 Weber carburetors finishes out this little rocket ship. It only has about 4850 miles and runs like a champ. This is a fine vehicle that will bring nothing but joy and memories to the lucky person who decides to purchase it. $35,000

John-

Sorry for the confusion on the HP. My records (given to me from the previous owner) say the HP rating was 125 horses. I have received alot of interest in this vehicle and a decided to get as much history on the vehicle as I could. I tracked down the engine builder and he indicated it would produce more like 130HP, so I've updated it in my current listing.

As for the selling price, I move to CA next week. I have many toys to move. Where I have a abundance and space up here in Portland to store them cheaply, the case is not the same in CA. Logistically this vehicle would be more difficult to try to bring with me.

On that note. If I don't sell it before I move, I must take it down with me. In which I will attempt to find cheap storage until next years Barret-Jackson....the selling price down there would more that pay for the extra storage costs.

I hope I was able to answer your questions....please feel free to email me directly if you have anymore.

Cheers
Richard
