1955 356 Speedster GT replica. For Sale $45k
Not your average Speedster replica build, this build has some tasteful GT trim done to it.
We started with a Vintage Speedster body ,we spent two weeks prepping the body for paint, the doors, hood and deck lid we removed for paint so all areas got paint coverage. The blue paint is a custom mix and is Base coat clear coat (pictures don't due the blue justice) then we color sand and polished the whole car.
We installed a GT Gas cap through the hood and also did the Aluminum GT trim on the Bumpers.

Hi Alex, not trying to hijack your thread but where did you get the trim pieces for the carpet edges and the rubber sill covers?  Thanks.

Hello,

Those are available at Stadard, NLA, but we get ours from Siera Madre Collection.

They are not a simple bolt in and the rubber is hard to cut a straight.  I usually make a cardboard pattern for the rubber and cut the aluminum down to fit.  You might have to cut both ends so you keep the screw holes centered.  Last but not least, pre drill the holes.  Oh, almost forgot,  the carpet edge has padding that I like to trim back a little so the top trim sits flat.

Now back to the car.  Did you guys notice the correct stance on the car.  The car drives really smooth and handles nice.  We did a good on this one.
