If it was just the written description I would be appalled, but I must admit to a reluctant admiration of the photos. And I guess in the ongoing question "Is it a REAL PORSCHE?" This car is more REAL than the best IM replica. It takes all kinds.

yeeech! what a horrible thing to do to a great car....the only thing I have seen worse done to a 356 is make it into a stretch limo...and I am no purist....but this guy should be banned from ever driving another car, much less cutting up a 356....the only fair treatment I can see would be bury him in a Yugo for eternity? On second thought, the Yugo deserves a better fate than that.....

I can't believe anyone could do that but, then again, you have to respect their craftsmanship.
A bit to extreme for me! Sits way too high. If he could have tubbed it and cut down on the flares along with lowering it....maybe.

I took a 2nd look at this (with one eye closed)..... other than the intrusive body lift, if they had done the flares in a smoother radius that blended into the body, it might not look quite as ugly. All that time and $$ would have built a nice street rod.
After a third and longer look I think it is what a 928 should have been.

I have looked at the car several times, and each time I see something different. It looks like an old British racer... can't make the match, but perhaps a Austin or a Triumph? I am still "drawn" to it though, and no doubt I would love to drive that thing first. The cockpit has so many gauges that it is reminiscent of Duesenjagerflugzeug.
Don't really care for the wood grain interior trim.

Coronado car show last Sunday - fly yellow Porsche Targa, front mounted Vette engine, velocity stacks protruding through the clear plexiglass front hood. If ya got it flaunt it! Beautiful vehicle, and a real driver.
