Hello Everyone-

My father passed away unexpectedly last December. He had recently purchased a the wide body speedster replica after turning 70. Due to his death, I am selling the car on behalf of my mother. The car was built in 2005 by vintage speedster. Before hearing of your sight, I'd already placed the car on EBAY. I'm including the link in case any of you may be interested. Thanks for the opportunity to post to your forum.

Thanks everyone for your kind words. Even the funny ones....made me smile. in response to a few of the questions...I looked and you're right, the carb's are Solex and not the Webers.

I thought about keeping the car, but I keep him close to my heart in the memories we had. Although we didn't build this car, we restored and built many cars over the years, including model A's, 442's, Jeeps and many other different vehicles. Since he'd had this car for only a short time, it doesn't represent any of those critical bonds. As my mother said, "It was his and it was theirs, but it's not hers alone". It's really a nice car and I hope that it can bring/establish memories for the new owner that we all had with my Dad through the years with other cars. I really love driving it with top down ;>)

Thanks again for the opportunity to post to your forum. I can tell by the comments you all are a great bunch of car people!!!
