The car is an excellent driver. Has less than 2000 miles on 1641 with dual 34s. Has front disc brakes, 2 tops, 200 watt stereo and some extra parts.

More info please. And more photos. Please keep in mind that I am new to Speedster-dom, so don't assume I know what a particular model should have.
Thanks,

Michael; are you related to the Faas family from Faas Wheels fame? I bought a set from them about 17 years ago for a dune buggy I built back then. Good wheels too; stylish and inexpensive.

Sam, at this time I have one other picture that I can give you. I will get together a few more soon. (interior and so on)
I purchase the car several years ago from a gentleman in Ft. Lauderdale who's father had it built so I am basically the second owner. I have just about all the receipts from the car since it's birth. I replaced the engine not long ago as the one in the car when I bought it was going south and was not reliable. The new engine is a 1641 dual port with twin 34s and compufire ignition. The engine compartment is just about all chrome, it has a deep sump oil pan.
I am ashamed to say I just don't drive it very much these days as I am juggling 2 new business ventures.
more to come
Mike

Ricardo, I am afraid I am not related. I do find it interesting though as FAAS is not a very common name.

Hello Michael,
I wonder if your red CMC is still for sale. If so, please let me know when the body was built. I ask because, as you know, CMC has been out of business for years. Since the body, like mine, is old, how come the paint looks like new? Best: Doug Flaherty

Michael,
Is your speedster still available. I have looked (but never bought)for some time now. Your car could be what I need as a "1st" try at Speedsters.
Thank

CMC speedsters were not painted from the factory - their finish was colored gelcoat (just like on boats). They, of course, can be painted but no need to.

Gene and Doug, the car is still available. Sorry for the delayed response I have not been monitoring the site lately. Contact me via e-mail if you need any further information.

Sorry I forgot to include an answer to your question. The car was built in 1992 and has 14000 miles. The body and paint are as they look (pictures can be deceiving) The interior matches the body in condition. I have been trying to get pictures of the interior and just have not gotten around to it. I will make an effort - no really.
thanks
Mike
