The jury saw through the lying cop/SOB's BS and the felonies charged against me have been dismissed (two trials too late to my mind) and will no doubt leave a very bad taste in one cop's mouth.

Butch's garage-buddy 'Killer' (allegeded to have attacked a BMW 760 LI)is for sale. I had high hopes of restoring it to new (old-looking) standards, like a hotel or resort livery vehicle from the Hemingway era.

The dismissal of charges, while a good thing, put those plans on the sideline. Small towns being small towns and small minds being small minds and cops being cops, this truck won't be venturing into Vallejo with me in it anytime soon.

It is a great utility vehicle. It is now a very reliable 40 HP workhorse. Trans is the crashbox (no syncro in first) with reduction boxes. No pop-outs in any gear. Brakes rebuilt within the past 500 miles. 12 volt electricals.

Some bondo and surface rust but no real rot. Safari windows that need some latches. One treasure chest. Straight bed and fold-down sides. Hoops for a canvas cover.

It will start on eBay this Thursday at 5:00A.M. PST.

The eBay item number is 170044658580.
I had planned to do a two-tone paint job of silver over black because of my long-time association with the Oakland Raiders. I have the period correct bumpers in fibreglas and the right steel bumper for the rear. They were going to be chromed although that was still up in the air.

Interior was going to be pebble-y old brown-black like what was in most of my 50-53 Chevy and GMC trucks.

New wood throughout and a black canvas cover.
Finished safaris and a pair of running lights on the front and one on top of the cab in front of the small auxillary rack.

I have some old Mercedes/Military round lights to replace the '63 lights. They would look like the originals but be a bit larger and more dramatic(and visible).

Ride height was going to remain the same. New wide five steel wheels punched to seven inches in back and six in front. Chrome moons with a logo on them...My own logo that would match the logo painted on each door.Red pin striping to replace the blue and rust-colored striping it has now.

Ix-nay on the reduction boxes and a freeway flyer replacement, IRS, and a 2165CC engine.

Doo-Dah,Doo-Dah!
