So it seems from this video that without knowing the 'hardness' and micron 'depth' of the clearcoat (i.e. not having the several expensive electronic tools to determine this) then restoring the paint is an apprehensive lip biting project...Too agressive and it's possibly beyond salvaging...Too timid and it's merely a stop gap result.
Eight hours with a detailing pro has got to be expen$$ive. I wonder if a top notch paint shop, with these forensic tools, would do just an analysis of your paints condition...Does anyone know?
