That does not appear to be a car made by "Vintage Speedsters, Hawaiian Gardens, Ca". Those who know can see the build issues. Still a nice build, hope he gets his price.
.. Agree, not a VS build for sure ~
It's from a dealer in Lebanon, TN called Americar Inc:

He's also got a Spyder for $29,700:

I'm curious. What gives it away that this is not a Kirk car?
I wonder about the engine size. Seems choked down with those small carbs on it. Are those Kadrons or stock VW ?
I don't think those are Kadrons, Bruce, although I could be wrong. ICT's or some other small VW dual carb set. And on a 2150 I'm guessing the thing doesn't go much past 4500 or 5,000 rpm. The seller hasn't posted very much information.

A couple things I see, but of course any previous owner could have made the changes, 10 hole wheels, the engine, engine compartment, and the tops of the door. Kirk uses 8 hole wheels, the top piece that the curtains go in is different (not sure when the car was built though), and his engine builders seem to always use different carbs.
I believe it says theis is an owner build from a Vintage kit or parts, not a build by vintage.

"...This car was ordered and built by a mature gentleman as a Carrera Speedster from Vintage..."
"..The car was ordered with the largest engine output offered,2150 cc..."
Pretty sure they're claiming it was built by Vintage to owner's specs. And VS doesn't offer a 2150cc engine, 1915cc is the biggest they offer.
