Just noticed that Hoffman NY NY is the importer. He was the only importer for all of America. His Park Avenue show room was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. Can you imagine how cool that was. The new contemporary architecture with the new Speedster, Spyder and the Type D on the floor all new and beautiful.

Nice pics Bruce. I have seen that pic in B&W but not in color. Cool. Looks like he sold cars other than Porsche. Anyone recognize the black or yellow one? Looks like the same car in hard top and conv.

Pretty sure it's a BMW, but not a 328 as those were (I believe) pre-war.
It's got the swooping fender flair of the Jowett Jupiter...(only old dudes like Chuck and me would pick up on that!)

Pretty sure the yellow car at the right is a BMW 502. Didn't they call them the 'Baroque Angels'?
