Saw this at this week's Concours show in Huntington Beach. I sent it all up to Henry at Intermeccanica and received this reply from him.

"Thanks for the photos, pretty crazy Intermeccanica. Not too many on the west coast, good to see that they are still around. This car was not my father

A bunch of years ago, I was contacted by a guy in the Tuscon area who was compiling a registry of Squires. I tried to help him out with a very uncooperative NJ owner. The Tuscon guy was coming out to NJ/NY to attend a Squire owners picnic out on Long Island. he invited me along. These are awesome replicas. If my aging memory is correct, all were factory built, all had straight 6 engines, just like the original Jag. They sold about 50 of 'em I think.
If you discount the very early things called automobiles, little more than hay wagons w/ engines attached, there really are only two classic forms, IMHO. One is the Speedster that we all know and love, and the other has to do w/ those "slides" -- the long swooping fender lines and the low notch at the door, the round fender over the rear. Jag, MG, Triumph, Alpha-R and several others just worked that around this way and that. Classic, dramatic and very cool. The Golden era, if you ask me. I'm just sayin' . . .
