Odo says 22,000 but it stopped last summer. Interior is totally original -- seats have some patched spots, carpet is old. Top, tonneau and small tonneau, plus side curtains. New tuck-away exhaust. Runs very well. E-mail tom at tomstrongman.com. Car is in Kansas City.

Looks like a nice runner, Tom. If more than 15 years old, it qualifies to export to Canada. A bonus for any interested Canuk listers.... What does the title say it is ?

Kansas lists it as an assembled vehicle.
Love that first photo, Tom.
Beautiful car.
Beautiful car.
Nice car, good luck with the sale.
It looks great, if I didn't already have one, I'd jump on it.

I know there's a buyer for that car, Tom.
Until then, you could store it in my garage.
She's gorgeous.

She is a really nice car. I love her unrestored look. I have all of the history, including the original assembly manual. I am the third owner. I hope someone will give her a good home.
Jeeez Tom!
I just closed a deal for an Intermeccanica roadster in that color for almost twice your price. It's a 2001 with just 4700 miles, but they're good and your milage wouldn't have bothered me considering your price.
So what'd you wait so long for??? :)

That 2001 probably has roll up windows though! I consider that a very desirable feature of the more recent IM roadsters.
Ya, it does has roll up windows and more comfy seats. A bigger factor for me is the height of the windshield/top (when raised) as I'm 6'2".
In a speedster the windshield splits my vision with the top down and I have to hunker my neck down to see forward when the top is up. That's in addition to the limited vision of a top up speedster in every other direction because of the nature of the beast.
Nevertheless, I prefer topdown driving with either car and for the bucks I'd have chosen this speedster, or at least investigated it's purchase, if it had been posted on the 6th. :) Talk about bad timing!!

Sorry to miss you, Ken. Timing is everything, they say. Maybe someone else will like her.
Ken - Did you get the one in Los Gatos, CA? The white with red leather?
Daryl,
Yes, I'm sure we're talking about the same car (how many could there be in Los Gatos?).
I don't have the car yet as I'm in WA state, but my check should have arrived this morning. The car was being sold by a dealer/vendor who is good friends with the owner. It was an ebay auction that had closed without meeting reserve. I found the expired auction in a google for IM cars and emailed the seller to inquire if it was sold. It was not though they had offers and a very interested offeror, so I just met the price and bought the car.
Waiting now, with no small anticipation..:)

Ken,
To get from there to you, it has to pass by my house.
So far 3 speedsters have found their way to my shop.
I'm just saying...
Tom? If I hadn't just blown a bit of the bank on speedster #3, then yours would be the "next" one.

:) well, I do appreciate your hint, but it'll be on a truck, probably enclosed.
Good luck it looks like a great car. You beat me by minutes - literally. I had been dealing with them during the week, then got stuck in the floods in Central, PA (Hershey). I sent an email finalizing the deal and learned that it had been just sold.
Are you kidding, Daryl?
That's awful!
What's strange is that in a way this car is a kind of consolation prize as I'd missed one I THINK I like better even though it had many more miles on it and was a full 25% more expensive.
Are you considering Tom's Speedster of this thread? IMO it's a great price.
I've been wondering about the expense and difficulty of converting a Speedster to a roadster. Since the roadster windshield frame is not part of the mold they probably both use the same bolt holes? I'm only guessing.
