1980 Intermicanica 356 speedster

Just starting to restore a 58 speedster I bought, needs everything but it will be allot of fun.....anyone else building a this point...MY last 356 was a 59 Convertible D I built to the real spec's.

Nasty fire, I know to watch out for the fuel line around the exhaust on the drivers side.....I used a hard line on my 59 D. and will on this one also...Seen too many of these up in smoke.

Jason, your IM is in awesome condition. Gives me something to aim for.
I really like your heating/fan setup. I'm in the planning stages with Henry for a heater fan in my IM. Driving in the rain with no defrost/defogger fan is NO FUN.

It is a beautiful car, I want to contact Henry about that heater control kit I want to upgrade my electric heater kit to a single fan unit. One of my fans have failed.

I like the idea of tieing it into the defroster with a control flap. Very nice.

I also like the factory fuel tank.. the hand brake and ashe tray. I dont smoke But it is also a correct peace on a Drauz Roadster.

This car is a very good exzample.
