Having sold two cars on Ebay, I've discovered a couple of sure-fire techniques to success (getting your price).
First, set your reserve at a reasonable level. This is a little harder to do with a Replica since you can't research its value via Kelly Blue Book, etc. And second, keep the auction period short...less than a week.
What always happens is - those who are truly interested will bid the car up, testing for the reserve price, and then, no one will bid again until the "proxy bids" (automatic bids with preset upper limits) kick in in the final minutes of the auction.
You can do a 10-day auction if you like, but only the first couple of days and the last few moments will generate any action.
Oh yeah, lots of pictures are a must, too.
