Hoopty Number Two??
There was some one looking for rear hunk and another for the front hunk. Would be idea cheap solution for them to buy and split it in half. Cory should be home in a couple weeks right? -- charge up his SawsAll!

it would be a shame to cut it up, somebody with fabrication skills could get a real deal, he says it has the pan and a clear title. That body with all the stuff must be worth 5 times what he is asking.
That's quite the deal!
Does anyone know who this guy is? I would be willing to discuss the project with him. Can no longer ct. thru e-bay. Suggestions?

I've already contacted him. He stated he was not going to let the car go for less than $1800. If it did not make that number he was going to end the auction early. He did say he would let it go for $1800 and the buyer could arrange shipping.
Thanks, Scott...are you gonna do anythin?

I was thinking about it but with shipping to Texas, and then buying all of the parts, I wouldn't come out much cheaper than buying a completed used car.
Where are you in TX?

Scott, I've had tons of experience in building many speedster projects, it is costly to build one by gathering parts here and there and shipping all of the parts will add up too. Best to buy a rolling-running project and refurbish that. Alan

I'm in Abilene, about 3 hours west of Dallas.
I've refurbished a speedster before and I think that is the way to go price wise. However, the whole time I was working on the car I was thinking it would have been easier starting from scratch. Correcting other peoples mistakes can be really annoying.

Scott,
I have contacted him and we are in negotiation. I am in the process of rebuilding a '82 IM roadster D. his seems like a "kind of deal" but I am not sure I want to tackle all that. I have an engine, etc, but i be poor.
I am gonna weigh it out and do appreciate your help. If you get to Houston, let me know.
