Well folks, after careful review of the amount amount of use I get from my cool Speedster, I have with great reluctance decided to test the waters and put my Speedster up for sale. I am looking for and would consider serious offers over $16,500, and will offer it for immediate "buy it now" sale for $18,500. feel free to contact me at (mysxeminiANTIVIRAL@yahoo.com) for further information, or to make an offer. The specs as far as I know are listed below:

It started life as a early to mid 80's CMC pan based wide bodied Speedster that I picked up on ebay back in 2005 as a neglected unfinished project car. It must have spent some time in Arizona, as that is the state of origin for it's VIN#. When I got it, it was licensed and titled in California, and now has a clear Florida tag and title as a 2005 Porsche. It has since undergone a loving restoration including new carpet and interior, a $3000 paint job, custom diamond plate running boards, a center trunk mounted LeMans style fuel filler cap, duel Spyder GT Mirrors, a complete duel Weber carburetor rebuild, new extractor exhaust, a complete break job with new front rotors and pads and rear drum rebuild, and to top it all off it has a set of awesome and expensive 17" BBS LM 8" and 9" wheels (off of a late model Carrara) with super low profile 245/35ZR17 rear and 205/40 ZR17 Hankook Ventus Sport K104 tires with less than 1000 miles on them. This wheel tire package runs almost $2500 new. It is currently using just a Tonneau cover, but I do have a used top with frame and side curtains that I haven't installed yet. It is powered by a VW Type IV pancake engine with lots of torque. The Odometer reads 44,350 miles, but I am not sure if that is accurate. So the bottom line is this is a good looking, almost perfect Speedster Outlaw that turns heads wherever you want to take it. I currently have plans to take my SXE-TUB to the 24 Hours of Daytona in early February with a For Sale sign, but thought I would place it out here for your early consideration. Thanks for looking, Per Hans PS: There are a lot of photos in my 1SXETUB gallery.
