Has anyone seen one of these inperson: http://www.halerconcepts.com/english/speedster.htm (Scroll down about halfway to the pix.)
Does it look as bad "live"? The 2 + 2 wheelbase looks ungainly and certainly runs contrary to the original Speedster concept. Why not soup-up a VW cab instead? Different strokes for different folks!

Someone once offered an extended version of the Spyder, which I just LOVED. It looked a bit like an early interpretation, in Spyder trim, of the long-body cars that Porsche eventually built for their racing program in the late 70's and 80's. Say, cars like the 936 and 956.

The extended Spyder offered a sort of "what if?" approach.
Not too sure about this one . . . . Gotta see it with the top up.
I believe the new Porsche Panamera, a true four seater 911 variant, is about to go on sale. Years ago someone was making a 2 + 2 Corvette. It looked bad, but the road testers couldn't hardly tell the handling from an original. I have seen an 8 passsenger Cobra Roadster Limo. But the goofiest one I ever saw was a Harley Limo. The Harley had 8 seats and a reeeal loooooooong wheelbase.
Yeah, they all sucked when it came to looks, but the BLING was real big!
