20 gallon fuel cell

A 20 gallon SCCA competition approved fuel cell for 356 Porsches is available; it would probably fit most Speedster replicas. The company that makes them advertises in "Excellence".

15 gal from CIP is $100. There are a number of guys selling fuels cells of various capacities and configurations on Ebay. Some say they are manufacturers and will do alum and poly cells. I got a quote from one guy who sells there regularly and it was about $250 for a 20 gallon cell to my measurements.

Check them out...they may not be as nice as the ones in Excellance but those are SCCA certified with foam, etc and we don't need that in a road car.

What's CIP website? I'd love to replace my 8gal tank with a 15 gallon fuel cell!

CIP1.com part number is ACC-C10-2510 and its $69.95 US. You'll need a cap too...

Will the 16 gal tank from CIP1.com fit in same position with stock mounts already installed for the smaller tank (used in Vintage Speedster Models)? Is there any place that is on the web or on this site that gives directions on the removal and installation of this tank or one similiar? Thanks guys...this is really a great site!
