Put your car on e-bay, Larry. There are thousands of people browsing every minute. I put my 1994 Porsche 968 on e-bay 4 months ago and it lasted merly a week before it sold above reserve.

Make sure you post as many high-quality digital photos as possible(exterior/interior/motor), set a reasonably fair reserve(the very least amount you are willing to accept for car) & cross your T's & dot your I's when describing car to fullest extent and you'll do just fine, pal.

If you haven't already, throw it on ebay. My Vintage is currenly on there and you would be surprised at the trade offers that I have received...Superformance S1 roadster(has me interested...), '72 Alfa Romeo GTV, '68 Chevy Impala SS, '57 Jaguar Mk1. Knd of humorous and some are interesting, but I'm tending toward a 2+2 classic for the ability to put young ones in the back like a Ferrari 308 GT4 or Porsche 930. Put in your description that you are possibly looking to trade for/toward a Cobra and you never know what will happen.

Thanks George,

Funny you should mention the famous Wimpy line. We were in a Waffle house in Tucson and the waitress was attempting to repeat that line however, it came out, "I'd gladly pay for a hamburger tuesday for a burger today"

Of course, she was only 19 years old and didn't know Popeye as well as us. Her only recolection was the Robin Williams movie she rented from the """classics section""" HA!
Vicki, NO BOAT, at first I thought I wanted a Cobra, then another 1957 Chevy or a 60's muscle car, I'm now pretty much set on a Boxster S. At 6'1" and 210 pounds, I "just" fit into the car and it was comfortable, powerful and handled extremly well. (I think Porsche specifically built this car with me in mind.)

John, no offense but In my opinion, (based on previous ownership) I equate a boat to a wishing well. Every wishing well I've ever seen has a fortune in money resting just under the water where you can't retrieve it. But, people KEEP throwing money into the well.

You know, it's a hole in the water designed to catch the money you want to throw away but, the main difference is that it REQUIRES paper money and not coins. And, if you don't throw enough money its way, it severely punishes you.

John, all kidding aside, I hope you enjoy your new boat, it looks like fun. When the time comes, I'll keep you in mind re: the local dealerships thanks,

ps what's funny to me is that upper end cars with miles on their odometers are called PRE-OWNED but a Ford, Chevy et al are called USED.
I traded with Guido/John for his upcoming boat and new Porsche 996 HA and LOL,

Actually, Steve Jenkins from Chicago purchased the car. With a little luck, it should ship out from CA to Chicago this coming week. Steve is a cool guy, and if he decides to join this, the other or both boards, he'll be a welcomed addition.
