Very regretfully, I have decided to sell my Spyder. For those interested, this is a completely "finished" Spyder. All modifications are listed below (it was a lot of work just putting the list together!). All parts (custom included) and installation work was performed by Russ Rodriguez at Fibersteel.
In short, almost everything you could do to a Spyder has been done to this one. Which means no waiting! Either with a manufacturer or in line at the DMV!
Mechanically, the maintenance was done by a VW/Porsche shop in North Hollywood and it runs perfect. Carburetors in perfect tune and oil changes and valve adjustments done regularly. The car runs perfect and I have never had any mechanical issues with it.
The car was built in late August of 2002 by Chuck Beck and is registered in CA as a 1955 (which allows you to run the YOM 1055 plate!) It has a 2110cc motor and 4500km and is located in Southern California, Toluca Lake to be exact.
This Spyder is literally as "turnkey" as it gets.
