Hey, SOrry to hear of your loss Dan, but along with the others, I'm glad to hear you paid the "membership donation" to try and sell your lovely Speedster. But am I mistaken for thinking that you can get a brand new one for about the same price + option it out the way one would want it. I hope you get what you're asking for it, but it seems in CA that there is just too much competition to get that price, in particular on this forum.
But man that's a good looker. I hope you're back in one again sonner rather than later. I might go sit in mine for a little tommorrow. The salt trucks hit the streets here yesterday, so it'll be till a spring rain before I expose the '68 VW pan to elements again. The bodies don't rust, but the frames do. AAAAAaaaaarrrrrrgh.
