I am posting this car on behalf of the owner, Dave Cohen. I will include his contact info so that anyone interested may contact him directly with any questions.
The car is located in Charlotte, VT. It is registered in Vermont as a 1968 VW and is smog exempt.
I sold this speedster as a "kit" with some additional assembly to make it roll so it could be hauled in an enclosed auto transporter. It wasn't quite a "roller" as there were several things left to be finished by the customer. I will attach a few photos of what it looked like when it left my shop, and some current photos supplied to me by Dave.
The color is Sazuka Blue Pearl, from a 2005 Honda S-2000. Interior is medium gray leather. Top and side curtains are black.
The car has the following items/options:
full cloth tonneau cover
stock VW heater boxes w/ auxiliary fan
12V accessory plug (cigarette lighter)
Standard Pioneer CD player & speakers w/ hidden antenna
Rancho 3:88 gearbox
Front discs, rear drums.
Goodyear RSA 185/60 tires
Interior door pull handles
Driver's side Aero mirror
1915cc "super 90" version built by Pat at CB Performance
800Km on the clock. Recently serviced (carb sync, 2nd oil change and valve adjustment). Garage kept, not driven in inclimate weather, etc...

So it's not a Beck but a VW pan based car?
No, it's a Beck, standard 3" DOM tube frame. Vermont used the numbers from the engine case to determine the year for smog purposes.
