Hi Tom;

This is Russ writing from Effort: You were nice enough to show me your Speedster etc etc @ the show you had this past summer; Remember?

WOW! I just can`t imagine Bus. being off that bad but what else around these parts is new!

To any parties interested in Toms car; All I can say is: "It`s the nicest one I`ve seen around"!

Wish I had the $$$;

Best Wishes;

Russ
Tom, it might be easier for all concerned if you drive the coupe down my way and give it to my P-car guy in Annapolis.
Let him bill John. You could use my VW to get home in, and hang onto it until Tif calls you back. I really don't mind driving the Sloppy Jalopy in the winter weather down here. Hell, it's practically tropical out. (21 degrees today under overcast skies. Mild wind from the ESE.)
Kelly's met him. Tif's a stand-up guy.

The Coupe IS going to Carlisle (better be sorted by then) and Lane I would love to swap keys and get a little wind in the hair time as well as your impressions of the green machine.

Cory - John arranged for Rocky C. to work on my car for me. We're just waiting for parts. Thanks for the offer. I'll keep Tif in mind as plan C - just in case.

I know I could count on you to do some solid "testing" before I get the car back home - just to make sure it was right - Yes?

I've had a few inquiries on the Speedster but not sold yet.
You bet'cha, Tom. I have such a good relationship with Tif that I actually took my car to him when it was in perfect working order just so he could enjoy himself for a change.
Big SEG after he drove it for a while. I wasn't with him.

Good luck with the sale! That Speedster is probably in the running for the nicest, best appointed 356 replica on the East Coast. Call if you need help.
The seam really isn't that bad. We were driving through a deluge, though, so it's not really a fair statement. :) Honestly, I was really surprised at how dry I stayed during a 2 hour drive through extremely heavy rain at highway speeds. Every place that might have leaked did, and the interior of the car was dry save for a few drips here and there. I've driven modern convertible cars that take in more water. Anyway, enough about its water resistance abilities.

I will say that Tom's convertible is a GREAT car. I had the pleasure of 4 hours behind the wheel, and I had a great time. It's incredibly clean inside and out, and whoever comes to look at it will buy it.
Hi Tom,

God I wish I had some spare change!

I have a suggestion. Why don`t you buy my house (-) the cost of your Speedi (Outstanding Investment Opportunity)!!! It would represent about $100K instant equity in approx. 1 year.

You get a really nice home (Rental would be approx. $1800 - $2000 per mo.) if you decided to choose that route. I would have my Speedi & be moving to the Up-State SC area. Its a "WIN-WIN" situation.

What do you think?

Regards, Russ

PS: I saw your Speedster on Samba & don`t understand why it has`nt sold? It can only be the $$$$$.
