Jim - your car's paint scheme was one of my favorites at Morro Bay! Hope our paths cross again in the near future.
I also liked your car very much and took a few pictures of it. I think you're selling it too cheap!
I dunno, i never saw a red water buffalo in nam, just sayin...
It's got beehives!
ps: Saw some dead water buffaloes in nam, ate some in Thailand, tough but more flavor than beef.

Accidently shot a water buffalo in Nam. Interior of the car is much better looking.
I applied a splint and administered morphine to a water buffalo in nam...
Jim - I have a feeling that a car as nice as yours won't be on the market very long! Best of luck!

El Guapo:
Thanks for saving the water buffalo I accidentally shot. I really didn't mean to hit him/her, whatever.

hope u didnt apply that to the body count
Whenever we killed a water buffalo (happened more than I care to mention) we (army) had to pay it's owner...The people were freebies

I am taking Troy's advise and putting it on e-bay for $24,500.00 next week. If any of you still want the $22,500.00 price, call me soon at 702-683-1724.
Best of Luck on your sale, Jim! Someone out there is looking for that car!
It reminds me of Alice Cooper's Speedster, I like the two tone paint!
I'm doing my part to keep these wide bodies rolling, but man I can't buy everyone of them! Why are you selling it Jim?

I have my eye on a Shelby Cobra Replica!!!
James-here's an interesting site: http://www.kirkhammotorsports.com/about/

Kirhams are great, but beyond my budget. I am focused on Backdraft.
Nice choice. BMW E36 suspension and slightly longer wheelbase. Body varies quite a bit from the real thing, but it's done tasefully and most folks won't notice.
A little off topic, but I always loved the Cobras until I saw a Speedster. I have had several Cobra owners mention how much more space there is in my Speedster and that they have a constant problem with the heat from the engine that is virtually sitting in their laps. Nice, but i will never own a Cobra.

James, that car has GOT to sell. It's about the slickest Speedster I've seen in a long time, and I hope to do something like that paint scheme on the one I'm building now (I'm getting tired of boring, mono-tone cars.....)
Good luck selling!!!!

It sold yesterday! I have loved every minute of ownership. This post started on 8/15/10 with a price of 22,500. On ebay, the buy it now price was 24,500 and I got a final bid of 7600. A dealer called a week later with an offer of 9500. I put it on the samba and only got a few phone calls. In the mean time I went to our Cars and Coffee as much as I could and finally last Saturday a guy got serious. The selling price was 19,000 and the car is now only 5 miles away and I have visiting rights.
Jim - the new owner got a LOT of car for the money! Glad you found the right buyer. Hope our paths cross again in the future...Pismo?
19,000 is a fair price in todays market, good time to be buying
