Hello neighbors, I have purchased my premium membership. I have yet to find a wiring diagram for my 2013 built vintage speedster built by kirk in hawaiian Gardens. The one in the library has a different diagram for the blue bosch 12 volt coil. my coil has black, red, orange, black, purple total of 5 wires in the center is the plug wire going to distributor cap. Thank you in advance. Steven from Laguna

Which ones are on Plus and which one on Minus terminals? There will be one for tach (-) , one for points (-), key ignition (+), if single carb one could be for a solenoid on carb. Take a picture. Some get power for an electric fuel pump and even license plate light from coil.
Steve - Alan Merklin (AKA, Dr. Clock) may have a definitive answer for you. He has refurbished nearly 50 of these plastic tubs. @Alan Merklin he will probably respond to this notice.
You can find it in the Knowledge Base.

If a VS harness then it's:
orange is tach signal / - coil
black is ign 12v / + coil
purple is power for the back up light / + coil
black need to trace it
red need to trace it
One of the (- ) ones needs to go to the points - should be a short wire trace. In the schematic below it is a green wire but could be whatever.

Steve, what Alan said.
My 2013 VS has the same five wires as yours, and the orange, black, and purple are wired as Alan indicates.
On mine, the finer black and red wires go to the electronic module in the distributor. I think, by 2013, Kirk had made electronic distributors standard issue - at least my 1915cc engine came with one, without me specially ordering it.
The red wire goes to the plus terminal on the coil and the black to the minus terminal.
Easy enough to check, though. Pop your distributor cap and, if no points, you've got an electronic ignition module.
