Terry, I plan on having the raffle again this year, if I can get some of you

to bring some gifts worthy of spending the money for the tickets. As usual

any & all funds collected become a raffle prize also.

would be nice to see some of the No.Cal. gang make the trec

Been coming to the annual West Coast meet since "04"

on the years I didn't have a tub, I bought my low light ghia, my 57 T-bird,

and my hot rod pick-up, this year I'm bringing my XLR.

wouldn't miss all the shenanigans.

looking forward to seeing all of you Knuckleheads again.....

how about pic of u and me

Based on the responses from those I know are coming, I feel fairly confident that the group liked the event last year and isn't looking for any major changes.

That being said, the Airstream trailer was sold and is not up and running yet so that's out! However, I have found a replacement nearby with a more shaded picnic area and live music starting at 1 PM for those who eat slow.  As soon as I get a menu, I'll be asking for lunch counts like last year.

The rest of the stops are in the works now and should be finalized in the next week or so.  Guapo, I'll let you know the route as soon as I finalize it so you can work your map magic!!

Still trying to confirm the Saturday night dinner, but shouldn't take much effort.  I'll keep you all posted so start checking in every few days.

Now, for those who are staying Sunday night and who like country music.  The lunch venue from two years past (Pozo Saloon) has a concert that night with Chris Young and Lee Brice.  The concert tix are $34.50 and the event starts at 2 PM.  For those who don't recall, the saloon and concert grounds are about a 30-35 drive from SLO.  If anyone is interested, let me know and I might be able to arrange special parking for us or a larger ride so only one person has to drive.

That's it for now, but keep watching for the updates.

I was able to confirm that we have booked 22 rooms so far as a group.  I'm hoping we have a few more people booking rooms, but either way I'm assuming a total of somewhere close to 44 people this year.

If you haven't booked yet, now would be the time to do so before the block is gone and the only choice for rooms is at another motel....

Well,,,even without Chrissy (bummer) the show must go on...

The dinner is set (same place), the first stop is set at Wild Horse winery and lunch is set (Peachy Canyon Winery) with live music and all....  As usual, I will have multiple options for the third part depending on the weather/ heat and the groups desires.

Looks to be another great weekend!

Anyone interested in attending the country concert on Sunday?  Let me know if you are.  I believe the tix were $35 apiece.  It's a great venue for those interested.

Scott

scott:     is there any music events or venues we can hit up  Friday night!    just curious

if not we can ask the hotel for a fire pit and The Nuckle Bros can tell us scarey stories while we eat smoores and Drink Guinness...

Teby.

Personally, I feel like a Friday night concert would divide the group and detract from all the fun.  Friday night is the kick off and I really look forward to that event.  We can go to concerts anytime, but we only get together as a group once a year.

The only way I would go to a Friday night concert is if there was a guaranty that you would get a kiss from the lead singer, like you did last year, and the band was Metalica!

Hey guys, gals, and Vince & his side kick...... I was trying to make this years even as I have been swamped at the shop replacing shocks, and we are moving into a larger shop in June so this year is most likely not going to happen, however CoolRydes Customs will be there in spirit, well at least our shocks ;}

I am working hard to get Doug's black beauty's new Raby heart installed for the trip, and possibly a nice wide body ready for the trip also.... Maybe next year.... ;{

Be safe and watch out for people and their dumb driving.....

Here is a sneak peak at another set of shocks going under next week...
