Remember to type the @ symbol and without typing any spaces start typing "alan merklin", (without the quotation marks and with a space between his first and last name). When you get to "alan m" his name will appear in a box of other names. Select "alan merklin" and all will be good. You could also just type @alan merklin and it'll utilize the feature also.

@robert m, OK, It just worked with Alan but now it doesn't seem to be working for you.

I haven't had trouble with other people, just Alan until now.

Could someone please explain to this dunce what the @and name feature does or is used for and how to properly use it ? Thanks.

Yes Rusty, you did it correctly. BUT, I only got one email for all of those @'s. Now if you put one of those in every response then it'd be spam. I'll serve you up a spam sandwich at the next SLO gathering if you want some spam.

I just committed myself for another weekend of madness. I have a new delivery wagon for the t-shirts this year. Since all the shirts fit in the NSX two years ago, I feel the expansive trunk of this new to me 911 should suffice. See you all in May.

Did you part ways with the NSX or did you just add the Porsche to the stable of exotics you're keeping in the garage?

They are both living happily together out in the garage. The 911 is intended as more of a daily driver and trying to keep the miles off the NSX.
