Yesterday's land slide between Gorda and Ragged Point has closed off one of the most beautiful stretches of road in the world. It's as if God closed the road just for our enjoyment.
It's not a bug, it's a feature. The 2 most beautiful cul-de-sacs in the world have multiplied to 4 over night!
Below is a screenshot of the 50mi path between road closures. Entry via the epic, aforementioned, Nacimiento-Fergusson Road — about 10mi north of the latest, southernmost, closure.
Imagine driving one of The 1 without being in the middle of an endless train of cars both directions! Once in a lifetime.
I'd appreciate any local intel from our Central Coast friends. And if anyone has one of those drones that follow you and video, this is the perfect time to break it out.
