I remember in the seventies having my car done with one of those. They were neat for sure.
I worked in a gas station off and on through the 80s and never saw one of those things. We had one of those dealies wherein you mount the rim and tire to it and crank handle to spin it up, then press a button and the LEDs tell you where the weights go.
I have one of those, Ed. Snap-on. Got it on craigslist CHEAP.

Car is back home. Thanks again to all who helped out. Special thanks to Henry at IM who shipped out the parts and Pieter who was gracious enough to store my car and install the new parts at his shop.
Fantastic news, Tom. I was so sorry for your trouble and happy for you that this is over. There were a lot of heroes at Maggie valley who pitched in---that's how they always roll! Sure hope to see you at next year's Smokies event and maybe at Carlisle?
