2019 356 Club Concourse

If you take your Speedie, don't be surprised if you're directed AWAY from the grass parking area. As it is with the 356 Registry people, only "real" Porsches are allowed to park together. I think it's something to do with maintaining the proper "genetic lineage!" 

Very interesting to see how the event will be scored.

I am definitely going to this, but will have several teenagers in tow. One of those being a 19 yr old that just inherited his Grandfather’s 59’ 356 Cabriolet. Sigh .... Oh well, back to the plastic world I live in.

those original cars are historic works of art...the owners are fortunate to own them....saying that...i would wonder if they could find it in their hearts to admit some of our cars are just as good or BETTER than the real thing being more or less resto-mods?...any thoughts?

I have gone several times when this meet was in Dana Point and they never tuned me away and I parked next to all the other wash and shine cars. I'm certain there were remarks but who cares! All the serious big money cars and competitors were up in the front rows anyway.

What kind of person would turn this Speedie away? 🏆
