Whoa-oh, we’re half way there!
Oh my gosh, boys, are you in for a TREAT!
This is my first time at the West Coast Cruise, and I’m already in love with this event!
I was able to get out here a day early, and spent about nine hours today blasting all over God’s beautiful Central-Coast-Creation with Will Hesch, who drives Whitecloud, and a friend of his who drives a real ‘58 Speedster.
Just wait until you’re driving your favorite car in the world down perhaps the most famous highway in the world – California Highway 1, the PCH! If you’ve never done it, you’re going to have to pinch yourself — it’s just that gorgeous! And the incredible journey through low valleys and across rippling creeks aiway from the beach is just as lovely…
Thanks, @WILL, for being such a terrific tour guide today!
@PaulEllis — can’t wait to see you out here, buddy!
See you all tomorrow evening!

Wow, we will be pulling out shortly. Great pictures Cory, I'm so excited to get there.
If you’d like to study the WCC route in advance, see below. The details of each stage are included in your route books and will be discussed further at the route meeting at Veterans Memorial Hall on Saturday morning, 9am sharp.

Have fun out there. We did the highway all the way down from Mcminville Oregon, all the way down the mountain like 25 miles of corners then PCH to Santa Cruz and I really could not drive quickly on the PCH at all. I couldn't catch my breath as it was just so awesome and breathtaking the ocean draws you in like a siren call to look at it.
Even my son kept saying the same thing and he is not really vocal on the environment or scenery much at all usually.

If we shared every detail here, some may skip the mandatory route meeting. See you there!
@@Ryan in NorCal Are you in Monterey now?
I’m in Carmel. Taking Old Coast Road to Nepenthe this morning, then back up north to meet the NorCal group at Bixby Bridge at 1:30pm.
If anyone else is up for an ambitious morning, join Cory and I at Bixby by 9:30am. Prepare to get dusty.

Couldn't get there in time, but will see you all in SLO.
For the SoCal drivers, look out for the ALC bike riders on the roads near the coast between Ventura and LA... several hundred cyclists riding from SF to LA this week to benefit AIDS research and a cure.
For NorCal drivers, I'll try to find you around Ragged Point/Cambria today on and ride alongside. SMILE for the camera on my helmet! I'll share all the great shots with everyone after!

So let's see. The West coast group sent 3 members to Carlisle the year. We can't wait to welcome all the East coast members that will be attending the weekend.
I wish!
So do I, Jack. So do I.
