See y'all there and then!

“If you get a hat, then you most certainly will want the monogrammed speedo with the Plastic car logo....and of course you must get the rare African onyx, hand-carved toothpick in the shape of a 356 hood handle, commemorating the cruise. I tell you, I am saving a mint by not going!” ... He said jealously.

Just thought I’d share a few shots I snapped of the NorCal caravan’s southern journey on the PCH1. We were fortunate enough to have a few slow cars in front of our group (including a motor home) that refused to move over to allow us to pass; allowing us to take in the sites, clean our cars, do some knitting; while we slowly chugged down to SLO.

For those here in SLO checking the site for additional information we’re meeting Saturday morning at the Veterans Hall at 0900 hours. The hall is at 801 Grand Ave.
Awesome shots Kevin and Ryan! You guys are really doing the non-participants a solid by posting your pics. Post freely, post often. Oh yah, make sure those knitting needles are stowed away while you are on the road. You don’t need those flying about the cockpit!

^^^What Brian said^^^ Great shots Ryan and Kevin!
And I agree with Stan- we need hats! Maybe with PCCA embroidered across the front?
And to add- you guys have an absolutely awesome day!

Is that the only color the hat comes in, does it have a mesh back and plastic snap or a buckle on the back.

Black on black and the color I have. Mesh back with snaps. Not sure they will be massed produced... auction/raffle item ;-)
Great drive today. Unfortunately wasn’t so good for a Lotus. That we found burning in the side of the street. Luckily no one was hurt.

I love the idea of an SOC or PCCA hat, but (no offence Brian) I wouldn't be caught dead in a hat like that. Maybe dark grey washed cotton? I'll bet it's an older guy thing...
Something like this with an SOC logo stitched in slightly darker? I just can't see myself doing the hiphop/rapper lid.

After looking closely at the picture of the hat I believe it to be photoshopped (note the edge of the hat against his forehead). Either that or the only things keeping it off of his shoulders are his ears.
Y'all have a safe journey home. Wish we could do it again next weekend! Memorable moment among many: the fuel stop at Chevron in Paso/Niblick on the route, that's my regular Saturday morning top off. (Warmup from my garage is a neutral coast down the hill for some premium) To see Speedsters take over all the pumps, awesome, AND the ARCO across the street . I'll be in Paso in the meantime, give me a buzz if you come through. - Marcel

I am sure you can “bend” the hat to your liking
@SimplifyTALightness (got a first name?)- great shots!
And @Lane Anderson, don't care if it's photoshopped; it's not a hat that I would wear.
