Anyone (besides me) interested in a 2110 logo for the rear of their speedster? I made this by tracing and modifying the 1600/SUPER emblem that came on my VS and am going to have some aluminum or stainless ones cut by my friend who cuts our Bac Rac products. I may have them gold-plated but I may have them powder-coated depending on cost. I'll clean it up a bit before having them cut, this is just a rough sketch.

Let me know, Will

Jim, I'm not going to do posts (I think) as it would discolor the stainless where welded.

That said, if folks (me) want to gold plate them to match the other scripts elsewhere on the car, the discoloration wouldn't matter.

The $20 price is without posts, I'm not sure what it would cost to have posts installed. If posts are installed, I'll make sure the holes line-up exactly with the stock 1600/SUPER script so they'll be an easy (famous last words) install.

Frazoo, the problem with one-offs (a couple other guys have special needs (did I just say that?) and wanted different cc's), is that they will cost more. The price I received ($20 each for the 2110) is for a 12 piece minimum.

That said, I'm meeting on Monday with the cutter and I'll ask what one would cost.

I've only had a couple guys committed so we'll wait and see. If more want them, we'll make a run of 12. If not, I may have to see what 2 or 3 at a time would cost. I'll keep you posted.

I'll take one and I don't even have a 2110. You gentlemen forget (or weren't around) the corpse badges. Once the run is done, it's done.

I'd take a dozen of the custom ones we PM-ed about as well, Will.

Were those the "beautiful corpse" grille badges? Yeah, I missed that one as well...

Hey guys, I took my bride on a short stacation at Avila Beach, just got back home.

I'll talk to my cutter tomorrow about the scripts and post the artwork for you to see.

I'm thinking of having them cut from brass, then it would be simple to sweat copper pins in for installation. If they're going to be gold-plated, it wouldn't matter what they're made of but I know some of you wanted stainless, I can't weld stainless...

...but my brother can, I'll check with him as well.

Panhandle, things got back-burnered but I'll get it going this week.

I'm going to have them cut from brass so I can drill and sweat copper wire studs onto the emblems in the exact location of the stock emblems. That way, whoever has existing holes in their cars, can simply (easier said than done) remove the stock emblem and glue-in the 2110 emblem.

Our business went crazy last month, the best month we've had, ever, so I was too busy to attend to this project, I apologize and will get it going this month.

glad you like the photos, check out today's, it's all dashes and steering wheels, of course Mitch doesn't go for that sort of thing, he's too humble.

Will:  Keep working.  Success will follow.  Something I heard once.

I'm still in for the 2,110 logo.  Brass is perfect - I'll just clear coat it.

No hurry.

Let me know price and shipping when you're satisfied with the look and quality.

Thanks for doing this.  It will legitimize my beautiful car and also drive the PCA guys nuts.

You can't actually believe you owe me an apology? You are the guy with the idea and the get-up-and go to make it happen. I'm just the schlump with a checkbook and a desire for one.

Congratulations on the business success! I'll be here when the badges are available, just let me know.

Bless ya' buddy!
