You folks in the Greater SF bay area should consider this show in San Leandro in a couple of weeks. There were a lot of us there last year and Vern from the NCKKC asked last weekend at the Niles show if we were going to have a good turn our this year. Soooooo come on out it is a nice place for a show, right on the bay with a place to eat with a bar 50 yards away. Here are some pics from last year including one of Mike McSweens old beauty

Hi Everybody,

I'm a newbie here to the site. I just got my new speedster from JPS and heard about the San Leandro show. I live in Grass Valley, CA and I plan on driving into the Bay Area for the show that weekend. Any suggestions on good places to stay in the area for Saturday night? If anyone is cruising in from the Sacto area maybe we could hook up on the way to the show. I look forward to meeting other speedster owners at the show and in NorCal. I have posted all of my info with photos of my car, please feel free to conatct me. Also, I'm always ready and willing for a run to Amador or El Dorado counties for wine tasting.
Dale, perhaps we should start a point system for those who actually drive their cars, rather than just get on this site talking about them....At the end of the year we could give prizes or something...
I thought one of the great things about our replica's is that you can actually drive them without worrying about them, most of these guys treat them like they are real........
Dale,
My business trip is delayed so I'll be there. It really is a pathetic showing. At last count there were in excess of 40 members with cars within 40 miles of the show location. Come on folks, even if you don't want to enter and spend two days here you can at least come on down for Saturday. Vince is right "get off your butts and drive your car"
