2nd Annual June Wine Tour Run

Ok, Just because we can't get enough of each other's ugly mugs
It's time for another run to Solvang Wine Country! Who said this group has no class?

This will be the 2nd running of the infamous Wine Tour Run (better known as map reading for dummies).

We will head up to Solvang on Saturday morning, June 18th (Anybody remember how to get there? No really, I mean it!).
Where we will tour several of the local wineries and dine on a gourmet potluck lunch on the lawn of the fabulous Fes Parker Winery. After lunch we'll have a casual afternoon visiting the remaining wineries.
A great afternoon of fine wines, fine food, fine friends, and fine cars who could ask for more!

Please RSVP so we can coordinate the pot luck!

Teri went on-line and got tons of info about lodging.......
I don't know who is interested or what they would like, but there is something for everyone judging by what I see in front of me...

I'm no good for the first 2 weeks in July, so its either the 18th of June or not at all I guess..........Sorry Joe L. Tell you what Joe, you pick a good date for the Arrowhead run in Late July.
I hate to have anyone miss out on one of our runs, especially a regular, but I don't know a way around it..there will always be people who can't make certain dates......

Sunday the 19th is Fathers day, and I was informed that my kid who lives in Sandy Eggo will be coming to see me, so it looks like I will be returning home after the run instead of staying over....
not positive about this yet, should know end of this week for sure..

getting close and so far we have 5 cars....
If we only have 5 cars going we better figure out who will bring what for the pot luck so we have all the food groups covered.....
we can all bring some paper goods....

Hey Vince,
This is even better than last year, we're already lost!
The 126 is a nice run but probably not "our" run for this event.

Here's the meeting info:

Saturday the 18th:

8:00 am meet at the Mobile station just north of the 101 at the White Oak exit off the 101 in Encino

8:30 am head up the 101 to Solvang!
